В таком случае, let’s go back to my favourite subject - creating your own social network using Wordpress. I wrote about Buddy Press - Wordpress социального сетевого программного обеспечения already. Today I’ve found another plugin for the same purpose. It is called Mingle. Mingle has almost all features that ere necessary for creating nice social network and may be implemented in almost every Wordpress theme. This is a bug plus, because Buddy Press can be used only with it’s own theme. So if you want to change design for social network created by using Buddy Press, you have to employ a programmer and pay some extra money. With Mingle you don’t have such problem. Однако, from my point of view, Mingle is a bit more simple - it does not have all features that are implemented in Buddy Press, plus needs some time to set it up properly (Buddy Press can be installed with one click of the mouse). Anyway, it is worth looking on both of them before choosing the one that suits your needs.

1) Зайти на FTP.
2) Найти файл htaccess.txt (как правило, в папке public_html) и переименовать его в. Htaccess
3) Теперь заходим в Joomla! админ-панель => Global Configuration => Site
4) Выберите "Да" для всех трех параметров SEO. Параметры эти делают следующее:

• Search Engine Friendly URLs. Преобразует URL-адреса из Joomla! формата в формат SEF.
• Use Apache mod_rewrite. Использует Apache “mod_rewrite” Функция устранения “index.php” части урла. Если вы не хотите использовать mod_rewrite, поменяйте её на “Нет” и не переименовывайте htaccess.txt. Функция ЧПУ-прежнему будет работать. Единственным отличием будет то, что вы увидите “index.php” в URL, Например,, http://www.yoursite.org/index.php/faq.html.
• Add suffix to URLs. Добавляет “. HTML” в конец URL-адреса.

Готово! Теперь у вашего сайта будут ЧПУ вместо кракозябр.
